Designer – Marketing Collateral, Website & Social Media in Sydney

Sydney Full-Time On-site
A

We are looking for a Designer with strong marketing instincts and an operational mindset to own our brand's core design output β€” from monthly print collateral and website to product imagery and social media content. This is not a pure execution role β€” you'll need to think like a marketer, plan proactively, read performance data, and run our design and social channels as an ongoing, always-on operation rather than a series of one-off requests.

Key responsibilities

1. Print, Website & Product Design

  • Design monthly Direct Mail (DM) print materials β€” catalogues, flyers and in-store/point-of-sale collateral β€” from initial concept through to print-ready files;
  • Own the design and ongoing management of the company website, including product pages, banners, promotional updates and overall visual/UX consistency;
  • Produce product-related imagery for e-commerce, retail listings, catalogues and marketing use, including product photo retouching and packaging mockups.

2. Social Media & Digital Visual Design

  • Design social media graphics, short-form video covers/edits, digital ads and campaign visuals for the brand;
  • Maintain and evolve the brand's visual guidelines and content templates to ensure a consistent, on-brand look across print, digital and social channels;
  • Turn around creative assets quickly to support the marketing calendar, new product launches and promotions.

3. Social Media Content Production

  • Plan and produce engaging content (static, carousel, and short-form video) for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other relevant platforms;
  • Write or collaborate on captions and scripts, ensuring tone of voice, storytelling and visual style align with brand guidelines and target audience;
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, cultural moments and competitor activity to generate original, high-performing content ideas.

4. Social Media Account Operations

  • Own the content calendar, scheduling, publishing cadence, and day-to-day community management (comments, direct messages, engagement) across all social channels;
  • Track key performance metrics (reach, engagement rate, follower growth, conversion) and produce regular reporting with clear, actionable recommendations;
  • Monitor platform algorithm changes and industry trends, adapting content and posting strategy to sustain healthy, long-term account growth;
  • Coordinate with influencers/creators (KOLs/KOCs) and external agencies, briefing content requirements and reviewing deliverables for quality and brand fit.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Brand, Sales and Product teams to align print, digital and social output with campaigns and new product launch timelines;
  • Contribute design and social media expertise to the planning of integrated marketing campaigns.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a design role spanning print, digital and social media, ideally within FMCG (food & beverage, beauty/personal care, or household goods)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, with solid print production knowledge (print-ready files, CMYK, bleed/trim)
  • Experience designing for and/or managing a website, including working with a CMS/e-commerce platform (e.g. Shopify, WordPress, Squarespace)
  • Confident with product photography retouching and preparing product imagery for e-commerce, catalogues and retail listings
  • Video editing skills using tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar
  • Strong marketing instincts β€” a solid understanding of brand strategy, consumer psychology and content that drives engagement and sales
  • Deep, practical understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook (and ideally Pinterest/YouTube Shorts) algorithms and content formats
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to brief and manage influencers, agencies, printers and internal teams
  • Full working rights in Australia

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary plus performance bonus
  • Genuine career development pathways and ongoing training
  • A young, collaborative team culture with real creative ownership
