What you’ll be doing

  • Connecting with prospective customers through inbound and outbound calls, engaging with warm leads and proactively identifying new opportunities.
  • Understanding customer needs by asking the right questions, building rapport and identifying their career or professional development goals.
  • Recommending the right solutions from AIM’s extensive portfolio of short courses and qualifications.
  • Converting opportunities into enrolments through confident, consultative selling and effective follow‑up.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 2 years’ experience in outbound telesales, phone‑based sales or a high‑volume sales environment.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to build rapport, influence decisions and close sales.
  • A consultative approach, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Resilience, self‑motivation and a positive attitude towards challenges and targets.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads and follow‑ups.
  • Experience using a CRM system, ideally Salesforce.
  • Experience in education, training or professional development is a bonus, but not essential.

We know great salespeople want more than just a competitive salary. They want the opportunity to succeed, feel supported and be rewarded for their hard work. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Training that sets you up for success – Benefit from fully paid training, structured onboarding and ongoing sales coaching to build your confidence and capability.
  • Flexibility as you settle in – Your first three months will be office‑based to support your learning and development, followed by hybrid working arrangements.
  • A team that celebrates success – Join a supportive, collaborative and results‑driven team where achievements are recognised and celebrated.
  • Invest in your own development – Access complimentary AIM short courses and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Support beyond work – Access our confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and paid volunteer days.
