Job Duties
- Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies for the pizza store, negotiating with suppliers and setting prices for pizzas, meals, beverages and other products.
- Controlling the selection, recruitment, training and supervision of staff, including allocating responsibilities and maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
- Determining the product mix, stock levels and service standards for the establishment, including pizza varieties, toppings, ingredients, beverages and other menu items.
- Maintaining records of stock levels, purchases, sales, wastage and financial transactions to monitor the store’s trading performance.
- Promoting and advertising the establishment’s goods and services through local advertising, promotional campaigns, online platforms and food delivery applications.
- Undertaking budgeting for the establishment, monitoring revenue and operating expenses, and managing expenditure to maintain profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, workplace safety procedures and applicable food hygiene requirements.
- Selling goods and services to customers, providing information about menu items, ingredients, available options and product customisation, and maintaining appropriate customer service standards.
Education: A diploma level occupation or higher is required for this role.
Experience: Must have at least 1 year full time experience as a store manager.
