As our Retail Postage Sorter, you'll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. Plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.
Casual Position | "On Call" after training your roster will include a mix of both scheduled and unscheduled shifts, Monday to Friday, between 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM.
- Extensive, supportive (paid) training for 2 weeks on commencement, Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM.
- After training, hours cannot be guaranteed as shifts will be to cover annual and sick leave, you may be called in at short notice.
- Loaded casual rate $34.45 / hour increases to $36.83 / hour after 3 months, + 12% Superannuation.
- Junior rates apply for those under 21 during training.
You’ll be:
- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace.
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes.
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.

- You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously.
- You're motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community.
- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting.
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
