We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join an established operation in Wangaratta, Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician with strong industrial maintenance skills looking for stable, full-time employment within a rotating shift environment.
The Opportunity
- Location: Wangaratta, Victoria
- Base Rate: $37.62 per hour + applicable shift loading
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Roster: Rotating shift roster
- Hours: Rotating shifts supporting a seven-day operation
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across plant equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimise production downtime.
- Perform electrical repairs, testing and fault-finding.
- Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with mechanical maintenance teams and production personnel.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with electrical safety standards and site procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to ongoing plant performance.
About You
- A-Grade Electrical Licence.
- Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience with motors, control systems, PLCs and industrial equipment.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team.
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift roster.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
