A leading electronic security integrator is looking for experienced Electronic Security Installation Technicians to join its growing team across Melbourne.
This is a hands-on role for technicians who enjoy the practical side of electronic security — from cable runs and conduit through to fit-off, testing and commissioning.
You'll work alongside experienced lead technicians on commercial projects, installing quality systems and developing your technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Install access control, CCTV, intrusion detection and intercom systems across commercial sites.
- Run cables, install conduit and containment, and complete terminations.
- Mount and fit off readers, cameras, locks, door hardware, panels and power supplies.
- Complete panel wiring, testing and assist with system commissioning.
- Read technical drawings and maintain accurate site documentation.
- Work closely with lead technicians and the wider installation team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
About You
- 2+ years' experience installing electronic security systems in a commercial environment.
- Confident with cable runs, conduit, ceilings, risers, terminations and fit-off.
- Experience with one or more relevant platforms or products, such as Gallagher, Integriti, Genetec and Milestone.
- Current Victorian security installer licence.
- Open Cabler Registration, White Card and current driver's licence.
- A practical approach, strong attention to detail and pride in delivering neat, quality installations.
