Haynes is currently recruiting experienced Diesel Fitters to join our clients dynamic team in Toowoomba.
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics of a wide range of heavy equipment and machinery, trucks and other mobile plant equipment.

About the Role
As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for
- Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining heavy mobile equipment
- Conducting preventative maintenance and servicing
- Fault finding using diagnostic tools and systems
- Completing repairs to a high standard while maintaining safety and quality requirements
- Working on a range of Caterpillar and associated mining and construction equipment
About You
To be successful, you will have
- Australian recognised Trade Qualification in Diesel Fitting or similar
- Experience working on heavy earthmoving, mining or construction equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Current Driver's Licence
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current HR Licence and Forklift licence (desirable)
