We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to join our Perth team on a casual basis for an initial 6-month period, with the potential for extension. This opportunity has arisen from our growing pipeline of awarded international minerals projects and offers the chance to contribute to exciting, technically challenging work within a collaborative engineering environment.
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, bring strong technical expertise and enjoy working alongside a talented multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
- Develop earthworks, roadworks and drainage design solutions that meet client specifications and project requirements.
- Deliver accurate, high-quality design drawings and documentation in line with project standards.
- Maintain consistent drafting practices in accordance with Ausenco's design standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers across disciplines to deliver project outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior designers and team members.
- Manage competing priorities and deliver quality work within project deadlines.
About You
- 7+ years' experience in civil design, particularly earthworks, roadworks and drainage.
- Experience across mining, mineral processing, materials handling or heavy industrial projects.
- Strong proficiency in Civil 3D, 12D and AutoCAD is highly regarded.
- Advanced Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and contribute from day one.
