Victoria University Sport & Health is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Spin Instructor to join our team at the VU Aquatic & Fitness Centre, Footscray Park.
We are seeking an experienced and energetic instructor who can deliver safe, engaging and inclusive Spin classes to our diverse university and local community.
The Opportunity
- Location: VU Aquatic & Fitness Centre, Footscray Park
- Class: Monday, 5:30pm (45minute class)
- Rate: $74.87 per class + 17% superannuation
- Additional opportunities: Opportunity to cover other classes and sessions as they become available
About the Role
As a Spin Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality group Spin sessions that cater to participants of varying abilities and experience levels.
You will create a welcoming and supportive environment while ensuring all sessions are delivered safely and professionally.
Mandatory Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A relevant Spin Instructor Qualification or Cert 3/4 in Fitness (or equivalent Bachelor of Exercise Science/Sport Science etc.) with experience in cycling classes
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- A current employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Experience delivering Group Spin classes or programming cycling interval sessions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and reliable approach to delivering classes
- A commitment to providing safe, inclusive and engaging exercise experiences
