Australian 4WD is a small family owned workshop that has been operating in nearng since 1995.
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join at AUS 4WD GC' in Carrara, Queensland.
This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing high-quality service and repairs to our wide range of 4WD and passenger vehicles.
What you'll be doing
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across a variety of 4WD models
- Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance checks
- Test and inspect vehicles to identify faults and recommend appropriate solutions
- Liaise with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide expert advice
- Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken
- Comply with all safety and quality standards
What we're looking for
- Formal automotive mechanic qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a qualified Mechanic, ideally with exposure to 4WD vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
- Full Australian Drivers License
- Your own tools
- Salary depnding on experience and extra skills I.E welding, Electrical and past 4WD experience.
