Aurora Dairies is currently seeking a Senior Farm Hand or Farm Hand to join one of our dairy farms, located near Waterhouse, Tasmania.
The dairy includes
- 60-unit rotary dairy with automatic cup removers and animal identification technology.
- 30,000-litre De Laval milk vat.
- Automated feed and wash systems.
- Modern external circular holding yards with automatic backing gate.
- Well-equipped dairy facilities including an internal office, kitchenette, store room and bathroom.
- Concrete floors and steel-frame construction designed for durability and ease of maintenance.
Located in the picturesque North-East of Tasmania, our farm offers the opportunity to work within a progressive large-scale dairy business while enjoying the lifestyle benefits of the Scottsdale region.

This role will include tasks the areas of
- Driving and upholding Animal Health and Safe Operating Procedures.
- All aspects of milking.
- Pasture management.
- Machinery operation.
- Repairs and maintenance.
