About the role
We are currently looking for an Auto Electrician to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will provide auto electrical support across both our underground and surface workshops, performing breakdown and preventative maintenance on mobile equipment.
Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW
Travel options: Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar. Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
Qualifications and experience:
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
- Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology (desirable)
- Prior experience in underground hard rock mining environments
- Hands-on experience with: CAT R2900G, 980, 950 Volvo/CAT ancillary equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical and hydraulic systems
- Team-oriented with a positive, inclusive work approach
