The predicted salary is between 31.5 - 38.5 $ per hour.
You'll be involved in a variety of electrical projects across Melbourne, including commercial electrical installations and fitouts, lighting, power and switchboard installations, electrical rough-in, fit-off and commissioning, three-phase installations, mains and submains, air-conditioning electrical installations, communications and data cabling, electrical maintenance, fault finding and testing, supervising and mentoring apprentices, reading plans, coordinating materials and managing daily site requirements, and working alongside builders, project managers and other trades.
Key responsibilities
- Commercial electrical installations and fitouts
- Lighting, power and switchboard installations
- Electrical rough-in, fit-off and commissioning
- Three-phase installations, mains and submains
- Air-conditioning electrical installations
- Communications and data cabling
- Electrical maintenance, fault finding and testing
- Supervising and mentoring apprentices
- Reading plans, coordinating materials and managing daily site requirements
- Working alongside builders, project managers and other trades
About you
- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Current driver's licence
- Construction Induction White Card
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safety requirements
- Experience in commercial and/or residential electrical work
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work within a team
