Claims Consultant in Sydney

We are seeking a candidate to join our JLTPublic Sector NSW Claims Teamat Marshin the role of Claims Consultant.

This role will be based in our Sydney office.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role is integral to the delivery of claims management services to our clients.

You will handle a portfolio of general insurance claims for NSW Local Government Clients, with a focus on liability and property claims.

We will count on you to

• Manage end-to-end processes for a mixed portfolio of primarily Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Property claims.
• Conduct accurate reserving, claims investigation, manage claims costs, and negotiate with various third parties.
• Build and maintain rapport with clients.
• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, adjusters, underwriters, and reinsurers.

What you need to have

• 1-2 years claims management experience.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• A strong customer service approach.
• Deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required.
