We are seeking a candidate to join our Claims team at Marsh Australia in the role of Claims Consultant. This role will be based in our Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. This is an initial 12-month Fixed term employment. This role is integral to the delivery of claims management services to our clients. You will handle a portfolio of general insurance claims for Local Government clients, with a focus on liability claims.
We will count on you to:
- Manage end-to-end processes for a mixed portfolio of primarily Public Liability, Professional Indemnity and Property claims;
- Conduct accurate reserving, claims investigation, manage claims costs, and negotiate with various third parties;
- Build and maintain rapport with clients;
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, underwriters, and reinsurers.
What you need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in claims;
- Good written and oral communication skills;
- A strong customer service approach;
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required;
- The ability to work in Australia.
