Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie – Antipasti to join their professional kitchen team in beautiful Port Douglas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting a high-quality selection of Italian antipasti, starters and cold dishes, with a strong focus on fresh ingredients, consistency and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of Italian antipasti and starters.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to a consistently high standard.
- Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and portion control.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with preparation and other kitchen duties when required.
About You
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
- Experience preparing antipasti and Italian cuisine is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Italian ingredients and cooking techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
