Role Description
2 x Occupational Physician Contractor positions located in the NORTH/NORTH EAST and SOUTH/SOUTH WEST regions of the Melbourne CBD and will appeal to young fellows seeking experience as an Independent Medical Examiner together with required Work Site Visits.
You will conduct medico-legal assessments, evaluate workers’ health and capacity, and prepare clear, evidence-based reports for insurers & employers on behalf of WorkSafe Victoria. Travel is reimbursed on an hourly basis.
You will be supported by the Atlas Medicorp team, assigned a mentor (where appropriate) to assist you in meeting tight deadlines and quality reporting.
The role also involves collaborating with other physicians and allied health professionals, contributing to case discussions, and maintaining accurate documentation in line with our highest medico-legal standards.
You will use secure, technology-enabled platforms to manage appointments, communicate with clients, and ensure timely delivery of professional reports.
