This great opportunity has arisen for a professional Warehouse Supervisor to join one of Australia’s market leaders in cable management and protection. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for running a safe and efficient small-scale warehouse with one direct report at this stage; therefore this is a hands-on role requiring you to be an active day to day contributor to the success of the branch.
A key measure of your success will be around your internal and external customer service, measured via inventory accuracy and DIFOT performance. We have a strong brand name, well established business, deep products lines and innovative solutions to help push this business to another level. We need someone with a passion for delivering outstanding warehousing and logistical services to help grow our business and your career.
To be considered for this role you will need to have the following:
- Demonstrated leadership/ supervisory experience at a similar level in warehousing/ logistics (Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or 2IC)
- Well developed skills and experience in ensuring safe systems of work
- Recent sound experience with SAP or similar ERP system
- Forklift licence (we use counterbalance and multi’s)
- Drivers licence
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, ability to meet deadlines and work ethic
- Well-developed written, comprehension, interpersonal and verbal communication skills to deal with various stakeholders
