Overview
We're looking for a practical Mechanical Draftsperson who understands that a good drawing is only useful if it can actually be built. This role sits right between engineering and the workshop, working on specialist Australian-designed equipment used by private industry and government clients nationwide. You'll modify and update AutoCAD drawings, manage revisions through Vault, maintain design documentation, and work closely with engineers and trades to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable and fit for purpose. This isn't a role for someone who wants to spend all day behind a screen without talking to people. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting into the workshop, solving problems, working with tradespeople and helping turn concepts into finished equipment. If you're a down-to-earth operator who understands manufacturing and takes pride in producing accurate, practical designs, we'd like to hear from you.

- Experience working within manufacturing, fabrication, heavy vehicle, trailer, transport equipment or machinery environments
- Experience using Vault for drawing management and revision control
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing requirements
- Experience maintaining inventory, BOMs or design documentation systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with engineers and workshop trades
