About Us

Asset Inspect is a national specialist in property risk consulting and insurance replacement cost services. Insurers, brokers and property owners across Australia rely on us for quality, consistency and technical expertise. As we grow, we’re looking for professionals who want more than a conventional valuation role. You’ll join a supportive team where your expertise is recognised, and your work makes a real difference.

About the Role

You’ll prepare insurance replacement cost reports and deliver property risk consultancy for insurers, brokers and property owners. You’ll work across a wide range of assets, including:

  • Commercial and industrial buildings
  • Hotels, resorts and restaurants
  • Wineries and farms
  • High-net-worth residences and specialised assets

The role is a mix of field and office work, with regular travel across metropolitan, regional and interstate locations. Our administration team handles scheduling, logistics and client communications, so you can focus on inspections, analysis and reporting.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect commercial, industrial, hospitality, strata and specialised properties
  • Record construction, occupancy, protection and exposure (COPE) characteristics
  • Measure buildings and prepare replacement cost reports using plans, aerial imagery and site observations
  • Carry out risk consultancy inspections for insurers, brokers and property owners
  • Identify risk exposures and recommend practical risk improvements
  • Take site photos and, where appropriate and permitted, drone imagery
  • Produce clear, professional replacement cost and risk reports

What You’ll Bring

  • Sound knowledge of building construction methods and materials
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain technical findings clearly
  • Confidence working with clients, brokers and insurers
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work on your own while contributing to the team
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new systems
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including regionally and interstate
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or Australian permanent residency
  • A current Australian driver’s licence and the ability to pass a National Police Check

What We Offer

  • $115,000–$135,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Performance-based bonus
  • Laptop, mobile phone and equipment
  • Full training in insurance replacement costing and property risk consultancy
  • A high level of autonomy, backed by a dedicated admin team
  • Clear pathways for professional growth and career progression
