This is a long-term opportunity offering autonomy, flexibility and the chance to make a meaningful impact across diverse communities. If you need any adjustments during the recruitment process, we’re here to support you.

About ASPL Group

ASPL Group is a values-driven consultancy specialising in recruitment, workforce development and leadership. We partner with government and community-led organisations to deliver inclusive and impactful workforce solutions. Our approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed and grounded in our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). We’re proud to champion culturally safe and inclusive recruitment practices that reflect the communities we serve.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across multiple concurrent campaigns, including senior, specialist, high-volume and hard-to-fill roles nationally.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and client stakeholders on workforce planning, role design, selection methodologies and labour market conditions.
  • Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies, including proactive headhunting, talent pipelining and engagement with priority workforce groups.
  • Embed diversity, equity, inclusion and cultural safety throughout the recruitment lifecycle, from attraction and sourcing through to assessment and appointment.
  • Design inclusive recruitment strategies that meaningfully engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, people with disability and other underrepresented groups.
  • Apply evidence-based selection methods that minimise bias, improve accessibility and promote equitable candidate experiences and outcomes.
  • Lead structured, culturally safe assessment and selection processes, including interview panel facilitation, assessment design and offer negotiation.
  • Ensure compliance with pre-employment screening, probity, legislative and contractual requirements.
  • Deliver recruitment reporting, workforce insights and recommendations to leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across recruitment systems, tools, templates and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, contributing to capability development and consistent recruitment practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within government, community services, health or human services.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, high-volume recruitment campaigns within demanding timeframes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience developing inclusive sourcing and recruitment strategies that support workforce diversity and equitable employment outcomes.
  • Sound understanding of culturally safe recruitment practices, accessibility considerations and evidence-based selection methodologies.
  • A genuine commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and improving employment opportunities for underrepresented communities.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, recruitment reporting tools and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to work autonomously in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (desirable).

Why Join ASPL Group?

  • Flexible working arrangements, with remote or hybrid opportunities.
  • Lead meaningful recruitment initiatives supporting nationally significant workforce programs.
  • Play a key role in advancing inclusive recruitment practices and workforce diversity.
