As a not-for-profit organisation, we partner with Autistic people of all ages and their families to deliver evidence-informed, person-centred and strengths-based supports. At Aspect, we recognise a different brilliant®—celebrating the strengths, interests and aspirations of Autistic people and working to build meaningful, everyday outcomes that matter.
We’re looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Adelaide team and make a genuine impact in the lives of Autistic children, young people and adults. This is a varied, community-based role where no two days look the same. You’ll manage your own caseload while being supported by a strong, collaborative clinical team. At Aspect, we understand that once you’ve met one Autistic person, you’ve met one Autistic person. This role offers real clinical diversity, creativity, and the opportunity to tailor supports to each individual.
What your day will look like:
- Deliver therapy supports to 3 - 4 participants per day in community settings
- Develop practical, goal-focused intervention plans
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and support networks
- Build strategies that are strengths-based, functional, and meaningful
- Support participants to develop independence and everyday life skills
- Work both autonomously in the community and as part of a highly supportive team
What you bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Full AHPRA registration
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (km and tolls reimbursed)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (state-based)
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
- Current RRHAN-EC certification (South Australia) or willingness to obtain (where required)
- International police check (if required)
What we offer:
- Competitive salary packaging options to increase take-home pay
- Structured induction and tailored graduate support program
- Strong clinical supervision and ongoing mentoring
- Permanent role with stable caseload development
- Paid parental leave and generous personal/carer’s leave
- Ongoing internal and external professional development opportunities
- PBS training and specialised autism practice development
- Annual National Conference for learning and networking
- Reward and recognition program
- Fitness Passport discounted gym membership
- Employee discount platform (Beny)
Why join us:
You’ll be part of a purpose-led organisation where your work directly contributes to meaningful, everyday change for Autistic people and their families. You’ll have autonomy in your day, strong team support behind you, and the opportunity to grow your clinical career in a highly specialised field.
Aspect is committed to building an inclusive workforce and strongly encourages applications from Autistic people, people with disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. We are happy to make adjustments throughout the recruitment process to support individual needs.
