The Head will provide strategic, inspirational and values-led leadership across all aspects of School life.
Working closely with School Council, staff, students, families and the wider community, the successful candidate will build on Melbourne Grammar School's proud history while ensuring it continues to evolve to meet the needs of future generations.

The successful candidate will
- Provide visionary and strategic leadership for the School's continued development.
- Champion a distinctive, holistic education that develops students intellectually, physically, emotionally, psychologically, socially and spiritually.
- Foster a culture in which students are encouraged to think independently, act with integrity and contribute meaningfully to society.
- Lead and inspire staff, supporting excellence, professional growth and a strong sense of shared purpose.
- Build trusted relationships with students, families, Old Melburnians and the broader School community.
- Preserve and celebrate the School's heritage while embracing innovation and positive change.
- Strengthen the School's commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and belonging.
- Work collaboratively with School Council to shape and deliver the School's strategic priorities.
- Ensure Melbourne Grammar School remains responsive to the present and future needs of its students and community.
