Job Description
The successful candidate's duties will include: 1. analysing project requirements, technical specifications, drawings and operational data; 2. developing, reviewing and implementing engineering designs, plans, procedures and technical solutions;
3. undertaking engineering calculations, technical investigations, feasibility assessments and risk analyses; 4. preparing and reviewing technical drawings, reports, specifications, scopes of work and project documentation; 5. coordinating engineering activities with project managers, contractors, suppliers, clients and other technical personnel;
6. monitoring project progress, budgets, quality requirements and delivery timeframes; 7. identifying technical issues and recommending appropriate corrective or preventive action; 8. inspecting equipment, systems, installations or project works to assess performance and compliance;
9. ensuring engineering activities comply with applicable Australian Standards, legislative requirements, contractual specifications and workplace health and safety obligations; 10. assisting with commissioning, testing, maintenance and continuous improvement activities; 11. maintaining accurate engineering records and preparing reports for management and clients; and
12. providing technical guidance and support to operational and project teams
