As a Credit Controller, you’ll be part of our close-knit Credit Services team in Southbank, taking ownership of a significant Australian customer portfolio and playing an important role in keeping cash flowing through the business.

You’ll work closely with Commercial teams, major grocery customers and offshore credit colleagues to resolve claims and disputes, manage overdue debt and keep issues moving towards resolution. You’ll become a trusted point of contact, bringing the right people together and creating a smoother experience for customers and internal teams.

By keeping accounts well managed, identifying risks early and resolving issues efficiently, you’ll help protect cash flow and support the Commercial teams behind some of Asahi Beverages’ best-known brands.

Key responsibilities

You will combine hands-on portfolio ownership with strong stakeholder partnership, using data and clear service rhythms to keep collections, claims and escalations moving. You will:

  • Oversee the ALC portfolio, including ageing reviews, collection priorities and account escalations.
  • Drive timely collection of overdue debt and resolution of claims, short payments and disputes.
  • Coordinate offshore credit activity and monitor service levels, KPIs and agreed actions.
  • Partner with Commercial teams and customers to resolve issues and mitigate credit risk.
  • Improve credit processes, reporting rhythms, service quality and customer experience.

About You

You are an experienced credit professional who is calm under pressure, highly organised and commercially minded. You can be firm and fair, turn complex data into action and build trusted relationships across customers, Commercial teams and service partners.

  • Five years’ relevant credit or commercial experience.
  • Experience with large, high-volume portfolios, claims and invoice reconciliation; FMCG or grocery exposure is highly regarded.
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred, with competent Excel skills including downloads and pivot tables.
  • Proven ability to coordinate offshore or BPO teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a practical continuous-improvement mindset.
