Join our Wulkuraka site as a Maintenance Stores Lead and take a senior, hands-on role supporting the performance and ongoing development of our maintenance stores function. As the senior point of contact, you'll oversee the end-to-end management of engineering materials and contribute to the site's maintenance stores strategy. You'll balance inventory cost, parts availability and operational risk to ensure maintenance teams have what they need for planned maintenance, breakdowns, shutdowns and projects. Working closely with Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, Procurement and suppliers, you'll improve stores systems and processes, strengthen inventory performance and support a reliable and well-controlled maintenance stores function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end maintenance stores process, including sourcing, purchasing, receiving, issuing and inventory control.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of the site's maintenance stores strategy.
- Monitor inventory value, accuracy, stockholding levels and critical-spares availability, balancing cost with operational risk.
- Assess and coordinate new store materials based on criticality, usage, lead times and existing inventory.
