Our newest venue brings together exceptional food, vibrant hospitality and stunning views to create one of Sydney's most exciting dining experiences at Manly Wharf.
As a Host, you'll be the face of the venue and the first point of contact for our guests. You'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing reservations, coordinating seating and ensuring every guest's experience starts and ends on a high note.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests using the venue's booking system.
- Coordinate seating arrangements to maximise guest flow and dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with floor and management teams to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain an accurate waitlist and provide guests with updates on table availability.
- Manage guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth and organised experience.
- Handle guest feedback and escalation concerns where required.
- Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the host stand and entry areas.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to reservations and guest communications.
- Support the wider front-of-house team during service periods.
- Help establish service standards and contribute to the success of the opening team.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a Host, Reception, Reservations or customer-facing hospitality role is highly regarded
- A naturally friendly, confident and professional personality
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
- The ability to remain calm and composed during busy service periods
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience using a reservation experience is advantageous
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
