Due to continued growth, Armstrong Air is looking for a qualified HVAC Installer to join our dedicated installation team.
You’ll install residential heating, cooling and hot water systems across Geelong and Melbourne’s western suburbs.
Working alongside experienced tradespeople and apprentices, you’ll take pride in delivering neat installations, thorough commissioning and a professional handover to customers, with scheduling and coordination support from our office.
Key responsibilities
- Install split systems, multi-heads and reverse-cycle ducted air conditioning
- Install ductwork, pipework and associated heating and cooling components
- Install gas heating, evaporative cooling and heat pump hot water systems within your qualifications
- Remove and replace existing equipment
- Complete system testing, commissioning and customer handovers
- Record installation details, commissioning results and job photos
- Support apprentices and maintain safe, tidy work sites
About you
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical plumbing or refrigeration and air conditioning
- Current registration and licenses appropriate to your duties
- Refrigerant handling license where required
- Experience installing residential heating and cooling systems
- Pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable, organized and able to work well within a team
- Experience installing hot water systems, gas heaters and evaporative coolers is an advantage
