Arkit is an architect-led design and build company specialising in high-quality prefabricated buildings. From our Sunshine studio and production facility, we deliver modular and panelised residential, commercial, education and social housing projects across Australia. We're a skilled, tight-knit team doing work we're genuinely proud of — and we're growing.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of a project portfolio — from design through to construction and handover. This is a senior role with potential for real growth: you'll work closely with our Director, lead client relationships, and play a strategic part in how we deliver projects and grow the business.
If you're a driven and experienced PM who wants more than just managing a programme, this role could be the one for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Serve as the primary client contact across design and construction stages
- Prepare and manage project programmes
- Work with our team to develop cost estimates and regular cost, program and project reports
- Prepare tender submissions, trade packages and proposals (or assist others, where required)
- Administer D&C contracts and manage subcontractor, supplier and consultant procurement
- Assist with obtaining project permits and approvals
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years of experience with a local construction company — ideally with D&C or prefab exposure
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Building or Project Management
- Strong working knowledge of D&C AS contracts
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel and MS Project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail
- Sound construction knowledge with the ability to work autonomously
- Valid Australian work rights and driver's licence
WHAT'S ON OFFER
- Senior role in a growing business
- Varied portfolio across residential, education and social housing sectors
- Flexible, family-friendly working environment — open to discussing arrangements for the right candidate
- Based in our Sunshine studio alongside architects, project managers and production teams
- Salary negotiated commensurate with experience
