We are seeking a motivated and capable Project Officer to support the development and delivery of solar, wind, battery storage, and other sustainable energy initiatives.
The Role
On a 12 month maximum term, this role supports the end to end coordination and delivery of renewable energy projects.
Based in Sydney (with travel to project sites as required), this position plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of projects from early-stage development through to completion.
- Coordinate project schedules, documentation, reporting and communications to support effective delivery.
- Support stakeholder and community engagement activities, including land access and consultation processes.
- Assist in managing regulatory, environmental and planning approvals, ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Support budget tracking, procurement processes and contract administration.
- Prepare reports on project performance, risks and progress, supporting governance and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate project records, data and documentation.
- Coordinate contractors and support site activities to ensure operational readiness at project handover.
About You
You are an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a project-based environment.
You bring strong coordination skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e. g. environmental science, planning, engineering or similar).
- Demonstrated experience supporting infrastructure, construction or renewable energy projects (desirable).
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems.
- A current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
- Exposure to GIS or mapping tools (desirable).
- Available to work in the office 4 days a week
