The Role
Turn great brand partnerships into commercial growth across some of Australia’s most loved media brands!
As Senior Account Manager - Affiliate at Are Media, you’ll play a key role in growing our affiliate and ecommerce business, connecting leading retailers and brands with our highly engaged audiences.
Reporting to the Head of Shopping & Affiliate, you’ll drive new business, grow strategic partnerships and create innovative, performance-led commerce opportunities. Combining your commercial instincts with Are Media’s trusted content and brands, you’ll help shape the next phase of our commerce growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive new business by identifying, pitching and securing retail and ecommerce partnerships that grow affiliate and commerce revenue.
- Build and grow strategic relationships with brands, retailers, agencies and affiliate networks, negotiating commercial agreements and unlocking new opportunities.
- Develop high-impact commerce campaigns in collaboration with Shopping, Content and Sales teams, leveraging audience insights, seasonal events and retail trends.
- Lead and optimise performance by using campaign insights to maximise partner investment, identify growth opportunities and mentor junior team members.
About you
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Significant experience in account management, partnerships, digital media sales or a similar commercially focused role.
- A proven ability to win new business, grow client relationships and turn commercial opportunities into revenue.
- Strong communication, pitching and negotiation skills, with the confidence to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- A collaborative, results-driven mindset, with strong commercial instincts and experience mentoring others. Exposure to affiliate marketing, ecommerce or digital publishing is a bonus.
