Senior Civil Engineer with 5+ years' experience to join the Brisbane (or Sunshine Coast) Office in a full-time role. Working with a team of talented engineers and designers, you'll contribute to a diverse and active project pipeline. Success in this position means the ability to provide leadership in the delivery of engineering solutions, manage large-scale projects, and foster team development while maintaining high technical standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and review design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality expectations
- Utilise CAD and 12D software to develop and refine technical solutions
- Prepare and review construction methods to ensure design compliance (QA & ITP)
- Lead and manage multiple complex engineering projects from concept to completion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary consultants
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and project outcomes
About you
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in civil design and drafting, ideally within a consultancy environment
- Construction White Card
- Proficiency in 12D (including Network Editor), AutoCAD
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-focused environment
- Effective communication skills and a professional approach
- A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning
