Reporting directly to the Deputy CEO, the Products Editor works across Architecture Media’s product portfolio to deliver digital content, publications and related activities to the agreed quality standards, on time and on budget, as directed. The particular focus will be the ArchitectureAu Products suite, comprising a web component (a part of ArchitectureAu.com), a digital newsletter and its companion print and digital magazine.
The Products Editor is also responsible for product-related editorial under the Houses brand; advertiser-supplied content under the ArchitectureAu brand (including ArchitectureAu CPD, ArchitectureAu Jobs and ArchitectureAu Directory) and advertorial/sponsored content for all titles.
This is a part-time position, working3 days per week.
Key Selection Criteria
- Performing successfully in a similar role.
- Writing and/or subediting experience and/or training.
- Good visual presentation.
- A curiosity about the latest in building and design products.
- Familiarity with social media marketing practices.
- Some knowledge of Photoshop and image editing.
- A friendly, confident manner.
- A team-focused approach.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 2–3 years’ experience in arelated role.
- Post-secondary qualifications in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or equivalent.
You must also be an Australian resident or have an appropriate working Visa.
- Part-time position (3 days/week).
- A spacious light-filled office in an enviable South Melbourne location overlooking Albert Park.
