Your Expertise Deserves More Than Just Another Job.

You've built the experience. Now it's time to make an impact.

Are you an experienced Arboricultural Consultant who's ready for something more?

More autonomy. More interesting projects. More opportunity to influence decisions. And the chance to be financially rewarded for your contribution and results.

If that sounds like the career move you've been waiting for, keep reading.

At Arbor Centre Group, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Arboricultural Consultant to join our growing consulting division in January 2027.

This isn't just another position preparing reports and ticking boxes.

It's an opportunity to take ownership of diverse projects, build lasting client relationships, mentor developing consultants and play an important role in shaping the future of our consulting services.

We're a little different from your typical consulting firm.

Arbor Centre is an established, family-owned Western Australian business providing a complete range of specialist Arboricultural services.

From professional consulting and tree protection through to mature tree relocation, tree surgery, tree supply and innovative root protection solutions, we offer something many consulting firms simply can't.

The ability to take Arboricultural recommendations beyond the report and into practical, real-world outcomes.

You'll work alongside experienced operational teams, contribute to complex projects and have access to a broad range of expertise across the business.

We're proud of what we've built, and we're looking for someone who wants to help us take it further.

What you'll be doing

Leading Arboricultural assessments, inspections and consulting projects.

Preparing and reviewing high-quality Arboricultural impact assessments, tree management reports and tree protection plans.

Providing specialist advice to local governments, developers, contractors and private clients.

Undertaking tree risk assessments, tree health evaluations and development-related assessments.

Applying Australian Standards, including AS 4970 and AS 4373.

Tree Farming – Providing technical input into tree selection, species suitability, stock quality, growing practices and the ongoing development of our tree farming operations.

Tree Management – Developing and implementing practical tree management strategies, including tree health, maintenance planning, preservation and long-term asset management.

Managing client relationships and delivering practical, professional solutions.

Mentoring junior consultants and supporting their technical development.

Collaborating with our tree surgery, mature tree relocation and other specialist teams.

Helping improve consulting processes, technical standards and service delivery.

Contributing to the continued growth and development of Arbor Centre's consulting division.

What you'll bring to the team

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical mindset and a genuine passion for arboriculture.

Ideally, you'll have:

AQF Level 5 qualification in Arboriculture or higher.

Demonstrated experience in professional Arboricultural consulting.

Strong technical report-writing and assessment skills.

Excellent understanding of Australian Standards and tree protection requirements.

Experience with tree risk assessment and Arboricultural management recommendations.

Confidence managing projects and communicating with clients.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

A collaborative approach and a willingness to mentor others.

A current driver's licence.

Experience with local government, major developments, infrastructure projects or complex tree management will be highly regarded.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems and wants to make a positive contribution to the team.

What's in it for you?

$110,000–$135,000 + superannuation – An attractive base salary reflecting your experience and expertise.

KPI-Based Remuneration Opportunities – The opportunity to earn additional remuneration above your base salary through agreed performance targets and contributions to the success and growth of the consulting division.

Company vehicle, laptop and phone – The equipment and resources you need to perform your role effectively.

Autonomy and ownership – Take responsibility for your projects and have a genuine say in how work is delivered.

An opportunity to influence – Help shape the continued development of our consulting division and contribute to its future direction.

Interesting and diverse projects – Work across a variety of Arboricultural challenges with the support of our specialist operational teams.

A collaborative workplace – Join a supportive, family-owned business where your knowledge, ideas and contribution matter.

Professional development – Opportunities to expand your technical expertise, mentor others and continue growing professionally.

A great team culture – Regular team events, quarterly BBQs and a workplace that values its people.

New year. New opportunity. Bigger impact.

We're recruiting now for a January 2027 commencement, giving you time to finish the year, plan your next move and start fresh with an exciting new challenge.

You've spent years building your expertise. Come put it to work somewhere it can make a real difference.
