About the Employer:
ARB Corporation Ltd is Australia’s leading manufacturer and distributor of 4x4 accessories. Due to ongoing growth in our operations, we are seekingan experienced Spray Painterto join our team in a full-time capacity.
Position Summary:
You will be responsible for the spray painting of automotive components such as bull bars, side rails, canopy shells, and ute lids. Successful candidates will work with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, using modern spray booths and equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces and spray paint automotive parts
- Mix and apply paint in line with specifications
- Conduct minor defect correction and finishing
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area
- Follow production schedules and supervisor directions
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
- Formal spray-painting qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology) is preferred but not essential
- At least3 years of relevant, full-time work experienceas a spray painter
- Experience in preparing and spray painting automotive or industrial parts
- Familiarity with colour matching and finishing
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work to deadlines and within a team
- Good time management and communication skills
- Dayshift 7:00am to 3:06pm, Monday to Friday
