As the Queensland Retail Operations Manager, reporting directly to the State Manager, you will lead the sales performance of ARB's five Queensland Corporate stores. Your focus is growing revenue and margin across the network, supported by the teams, standards and safe operations that make that growth last.
Your responsibilities encompass a wide spectrum, including ensuring safe work practices, driving sales growth across retail, fleet and Motor Vehicle Dealer customers, fostering team member growth and development, promoting exceptional customer service, upholding brand standards through effective presentation, and supporting the successful launch of new corporate stores. You will be accountable for achieving and exceeding the sales and profit objectives set by the company, and for building a culture where safety and sales performance go hand in hand.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
You are a commercially minded leader who enjoys chasing a target and knows how to bring a team along with you. You read the numbers, spot opportunities early and build the capability in your managers to act on them. Credibility, clear communication and the ability to build trust will be key.
- A proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets in a retail or multi-site environment
- At least 12 months experience in a similar role leading a multi-site network
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to turn sales and margin data into action
- Experience coaching managers to lift sales performance and accountability
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders
- A team first mindset, recognising that the company's success depends on effective teamwork
