Arafura is developing the Nolans Project, Australia’s first ore-to-oxide integrated processing facility in the Northern Territory, a greenfield operation producing the rare earths that will enable the global energy transition and future facing technologies.

We are moving into project delivery and construction, and we are looking for a Health and Safety Administrator reporting to our Site Health and Safety Manager to manage health, safety and environmental documentation for the Owner’s Team on site. This is a FIFO role based at Nolans.

Nolans is being built under an EPCM model with a small Owner’s Team. Our EPCM runs the site and its safety systems, and the Owner’s Team provides assurance over how well that is working.

This role keeps the records, registers and data that make that assurance possible, and makes sure what is held in our EPCM’s systems is visible to Arafura.

What you’ll deliver

  • Accurate, current health, safety records and registers on site
  • Reconciliation of Arafura and EPCM records, including inductions, incidents and contractor documents
  • Tracking of actions from inspections, audits and findings through to closure
  • Weekly and monthly Health and Safety data packs that give the site team a clear view of performance
  • Follow-up with our EPCM and contractors until missing documents are in

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years’ experience administering health and safety training or document control systems on a construction or mining site
  • Accuracy with registers, expiry tracking and reconciling records across two systems
  • Strong Excel and SharePoint skills
  • Persistence and courtesy when chasing information
