About the Opportunity
ARA Building Services is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Handyman to join our Sydney team. In this full‑time role based in the Sydney CBD, you'll work across multiple commercial sites, delivering high‑quality maintenance services and ensuring our clients receive exceptional support. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including general handyman duties, painting, and minor works
- Respond promptly to service requests and resolve issues efficiently — aiming for a first‑time fix
- Maintain accurate job records using our mobile Job Management System
- Ensure all work complies with WHS standards, regulations, and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, delivering outstanding customer service
What You’ll Bring
- Experience as a Handyman or Maintenance Technician, or a genuine passion for fixing, maintaining and improving facilities.
- Confident communication skills and a customer‑first approach
- White Card (or willingness to obtain one)
- Solid understanding of workplace safety and hazard identification
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional paid after‑hours work, and participate in a rotating shift schedule between 7:00am and 5:00pm as required.
