The Dean of Student Life takes a leading role in the life of the student body at Aquinas, working with student leaders to ensure the College is a positive, welcoming and well-structured environment. In addition to managing discipline, the Dean leads the development, implementation, and oversight of evidence-based wellbeing and student care programs, as well as assisting and supporting students individually.
Key responsibilities
- To support the purposes of the College and to pursue them proactively with students, staff, alumni and the wider community.
- Contribute to the unique culture, values and community spirit of the College by having a prominent and positive presence in College life.
- Provide pastoral care and personal support to individuals as required.
- To foster the overall wellbeing and development of students.
