Are you passionate about helping adults gain confidence in the water?
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional Learn to Swim Instructor to join our Aquatics Team on a casual basis.
In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality swimming lessons designed specifically for adults of all abilities from beginners to those looking to refine their technique in accordance with AUSTSWIM industry standards.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated instructor who enjoys empowering adults to achieve their swimming goals while promoting water safety and lifelong aquatic enjoyment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, progressive, and supportive adult swimming lessons.
- Create an inclusive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence and skill development.
- Communicate effectively with participants, understanding diverse needs, backgrounds, and learning styles.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and class organisation.
- Uphold Work Health & Safety (WH&S) standards within the aquatic environment.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll have
- A current AUSTSWIM Licence
- A valid Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Prior experience teaching adult swimming programs (highly regarded).
- A positive, patient, and motivational teaching style.
