We are seeking an experienced Earthmoving Combo excavator/posi Operator to join our team at APS Earthmoving in Brisbane, Queensland. This is a full-time role that will involve operating a range of earthmoving machinery to support our construction projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Safely and efficiently operating a combination excavator and positioner to excavate and prepare construction sites
- Coordinating with project managers and construction crews to complete earthworks tasks on schedule
- Performing routine maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment
- Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and company policies
- Providing guidance and training to less experienced operators as needed
What we're looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Earthmoving Combo excavator/posi Operator in the construction industry
- Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate a range of earthmoving equipment including excavators, loaders, and backhoes
- Strong working knowledge of construction site preparation and earthworks processes
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- A valid driver's licence and Construction White Card
