About the Role
You'll be working across commercial and residential projects, with flexibility, autonomy and a startup-minded culture.
We need someone who can design and who knows planning well enough to understand the full DA process, from conception to design to approval. The work covers dwelling houses, dual occupancies, extensions, change of use and commercial plans, through either a DA or a CDC. There's also higher-end residential work through Woods Mead.
You'll be someone keen to run your own jobs, have an impact on the team and grow your skillset. That starts with the first client meeting and goes through concept design, documentation, lodgement and the council RFIs, right up to approval.
The role is full-time. Three days in the office, two from home. Build your career, have variety and the right kind of challenge, work with and learn from a great tight-knit team, and have the creative autonomy to own projects and design across Australia.
Required Experience and Skills
- A qualification in building design or architecture and real experience lodging DAs and CDCs in NSW
- Strong concept design and presentation skills, and comfortable dealing with clients directly
- A growth mindset, and you enjoy working in a driven team of self-starters
- Ability to manage and collaborate with a small team of internal and remote designers
