The role
You’ll lead engagements and the people on them across financial accounting, management accounting and costing. Small teams, senior staff and real responsibility.
- Running financial accounting, management accounting and costing projects for Federal Government clients
- Owning client relationships, from scoping through to delivery and follow-on work
- Reviewing and signing off work, and coaching the team
- Helping win new work and grow existing accounts
- Having a say in how the firm builds and runs its advisory practice
You’ll bring
- Strong experience in financial accounting, management accounting and/or costing (CA, CPA or equivalent)
- A consulting background, ideally Big 4 or another recognised firm
- Experience working with, or advising, Federal Government
- Confidence managing clients and leading a team
- Clear, commercial communication that doesn’t hide behind jargon
- Australian citizenship / ability to obtain a security clearance
