This position is seeking a competent and highly motivated person who can effectively assist in the management of the day-to-day functions of a farm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the excellent welfare of stock
- Organise and conduct farming operations such as maintaining sheds and surrounding areas, water supply system and equipment
- Preparation of sheds for batches of chickens
- Daily operations, feed ordering and movement of livestock
- Maintain cleanliness, maintenance and stock control
- Identify and control environmental toxins, weeds, pests, and diseases
- Daily and weekly reporting
- Supervision of existing staff and training new staff
- Managing business capital, monitoring market activity and planning production to meet contract requirements and market demand
Salary: $79,499 per annum + Super
