The predicted salary is between 85000 - 85000 $ per year.
We are currently seeking suitably qualified CONCRETERS. The role includes but is not limited to:
- Setting up and erecting concrete form works and laying steel reinforcing
- Pouring, spreading, levelling and smoothing concrete using screeds and templates to ensure a level surface
- Using different trowels or trowelling machines to smooth and polish the surface once they have poured the concrete
- Installing wiring mesh correctly to reinforce and keep the concrete in place
- Taking appropriate measures when setting up the project to ensure no defects after pouring the concrete
- Tamping, smoothing, shaping and sealing concrete
- Forming expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straight edges
- Installing fixtures in concrete such as anchor bolts, steel plates and door sills
- Wetting concrete and rubbing with abrasives to finish vertical surfaces
- Covering concrete with plastic sheeting and sand to cure it
- Cutting lines in concrete using power cutters
- Covering the concrete with sand and plastic to ensure it stays protected while setting
- May cover freshly poured concrete with colouring powders and other materials
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Relevant training and/or certifications in concrete labour
- Proven hands-on experience in this field
- Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands
- Ability to measure accurately and read specifications
- Ability to meet job specifications
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
- Must have great work ethics
Salary: Between $75,000 and $85,000 per annum + Super
