The Bays Aged Care is a 90-bed facility where we pride ourselves on creating a friendly, caring environment in which residents feel safe and supported. We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Lifestyle Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will be at the heart of creating joy and connection, designing and delivering meaningful activities that bring smiles, laughter, and a sense of community. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement individual and group leisure activities that cater to residents' needs, abilities, and interests
- Develop and maintain personalized lifestyle care plans
- Engage with residents and their families to create a sense of belonging and inclusion
- Collaborate with the Lifestyle Team and care staff to support the holistic well-being of residents
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Maintain secure and accurate care records
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lifestyle Assistant and/or Aged Care - desirable
- Certificate III or IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy Qualification - desirable
- Certificate III in Aged Care (highly desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
