Corryong Family Bakery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Baker to join our friendly local team. This role is suitable for someone who is passionate about traditional baking and committed to producing fresh, consistent and high-quality products for the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, rolls, buns, scrolls and other bakery products.
• Measure, mix, knead, scale, mould and shape dough according to recipes.
• Manage fermentation, proofing, oven temperatures and baking times.
• Follow daily production schedules and ensure products are available on time.
• Finish bakery products with glazes, icings, toppings and other decorations.
• Check ingredients and finished products for quality and freshness.
• Maintain stock levels and store ingredients correctly.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Clean and sanitise bakery equipment, utensils and work areas.
• Support junior team members and contribute to an efficient production environment.

RequirementsAbout You

• Relevant baking qualification or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dough preparation, proofing and oven management.
• Ability to work early mornings and weekends.
• Excellent time-management and teamwork skills.
