Hope Island, Gold Coast QLD | Opening 30 November 2026
A brand-new veterinary chapter is coming to Hope Island and we’re looking for vets to join us from the very start. Hope Island Central Vet is a purpose-built, modern veterinary clinic designed to deliver exceptional quality companion animal services to one of the Gold Coast’s fastest growing communities.
As a founding team member, you won’t simply be joining an established clinic, you’ll have the opportunity to shape it. Hope Island Central Vet will be the larger of the two new sister clinics opening in the local community, working closely with Sanctuary Cove Vet and the already established Ormeau Vet nearby. Together, these clinics will provide an outstanding blend of community focused care, advanced diagnostics, including the region’s only CT machine, as well as clinical collaboration across the network.
Whether you’re interested in developing your clinical skills, mentoring others or helping to shape a new team and culture, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact from day one.
Live where others holiday. Hope Island offers the perfect combination of coastal lifestyle and career opportunity and has become one of the Gold Coast’s most sought-after residential communities. With beautiful waterways, parks, schools, cafés, shopping precincts and easy access to Brisbane, Hope Island offers an enviable lifestyle both inside and outside of work.
Flexibility That Works for Real Life. Hope Island Central Vet offers a variety of roles to suit your needs, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Whether you are looking for leadership opportunities, professional development, a commitment to a work-life balance or just simply flexible hours, this clinic can support you.
We’re looking for veterinarians with a minimum of two years’ experience who are passionate about high quality companion animal medicine and surgery and excited by the opportunity to help build a new clinic and team.
Proudly Part of Apiam Animal Health. While Hope Island Central Vet will develop its own identity and culture, you’ll be supported by the resources, expertise and opportunities that come with being part of Apiam Animal Health. Before opening, you’ll participate in a structured induction program and have access to experienced operational, leadership and clinical mentors. You will be supported to help make this clinic a success from day one and beyond.

- No after hours, shared Saturday rotating roster
- Full-time or part-time flexibility
- Brand-new, purpose-built facilities and equipment
