Our client is a well-established operator in the mining, energy and resources sector with a national footprint. As part of an internal restructure, they're looking for a National Recruiter to own end-to-end recruitment for their blue-collar and trades workforce across multiple sites based out of their new office South of the River.
About the role
This is a genuine internal recruitment position, working closely with operational leaders to resource critical trades roles nationally. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle — from job briefing and sourcing through to offer and mobilisation — while building a strong talent pipeline across the industry.
Key responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for blue-collar and trades roles (auto electrical, mechanical fitting, heavy diesel, and related trades) across multiple sites nationally
- Partner with operational and site leaders to understand workforce demand and hiring priorities
- Build and maintain a strong, proactive candidate pipeline for hard-to-fill trades
- Coordinate pre-employment and compliance requirements, including medicals and site inductions
- Provide market insights and hiring advice to internal stakeholders
About you
- Proven experience recruiting blue-collar trades, ideally within mining, energy & resources.
- Comfortable managing high-volume requisitions across multiple locations
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust with operational leaders
- Confident using an ATS to manage pipelines and reporting
