Apartment Cleaner – Melbourne CBD

Apartment Living Melbourne is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Apartment Cleaner to join our team in Melbourne CBD. This is a part-time position through December 2026, increasing to full-time hours in January and February 2027, based in Melbourne VIC 3000. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our apartment properties.

As an essential member of our operations team, you will ensure that every apartment meets our high standards of cleanliness, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the reputation of Apartment Living Melbourne.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of apartments, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas to the highest standards.
• Dust, vacuum, mop and sanitise all surfaces, furniture and fixtures within assigned apartments.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers and bathtubs.
• Empty bins, remove rubbish and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Set up apartments for incoming residents.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage or repairs needed to management.
• Work efficiently to meet cleaning schedules and turnaround times.
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar cleaning role within the hospitality or residential sector.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet cleaning schedules.
• Reliability and punctuality, with a professional attitude towards work.
• Knowledge of appropriate cleaning products, techniques and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and checklists accurately.
• Good communication skills and willingness to report issues to management.
• Flexibility to work across varied shifts as required by the business.
